The
ANGELITE®
(U.S.
Patent #6,891,102)
product line, including
hair dryers, were developed to reduce
this leukemia risk of children and adults from using
these
products.
The
linkage of children's leukemia to
hair dryers is reported in the U.S. Government
report,
NIH98-3981
(pages 180 & 182),
in August of 1998. This report was prepared under a
$65
million dollar allocation by the U.S. Congress under
the EMF
RAPID Program.
The
University of Southern California and
the National Cancer Institute have also linked
children's
leukemia to hair dryers. Scientists at the NCRP
(National
Council on Radiation Protection) in the U.S.A., the
Cancer
Registry in Copenhagen, Denmark and the Institute of
Environmental medicine at the karolinska Institute
in
Stockholm, Sweden have concluded that the leukemia
risk for
both CHILDREN and ADULTS are very high when they are
exposed
to EMFs (Electromagnetic Fields) higher than 2 milli
Gauss (mG).
The Department of Energy (DOE) has conducted
extensive
studies of household appliances and determined that
hair
dryers are responsible for emitting excessive EMFs -
in some
cases up to 700 mG (DOE EE/0040). Upon learning of
the
danger hair dryers pose, the EMHHC, Inc.
(Electromagnetic
Health Hazard Control, Inc.) attempted to develop
products
to help reduce this leukemia risk. The result of our
development is our first product, the
ANGELITE® Hair Dryer
(U.S.
Patent
#6,891,102.
The
ANGELITE® Hair Dryers, unlike all
other hair dryers on the market, are limited to a
remarkable
2 milli Gauss at 2" from the mouth of the hair
dryer. Our
products meet the standards set out in all of these
international reports by reducing exposure to EMFs
by up to
35,000%!
